Not to be outdone my Shona McGarty, the beautful Hetti Bywater was also spotted wearing Babette Wasserman at the British Soap Awards over the weekend, wearing our stand-out champagne Cocoon cocktail ring.

Gorgeous EastEnders star Shona McGarty dazzled on the red carpet on Friday for the 2012 British Soap Awards.  Shona wore our Amazon earrings in silver and our show-stopping Glitter Chameleon oyster bracelet in marine, which complimented the deep blue detail on her dress. Styled by Nina Sobers, we definitely think Shona makes the best dressed list!

We were thrilled to discover that Harpers Bazaar featured our gorgeous Deco Ring in a fabulous feature in their April 2012 issue.  This issue features the ever-stunning Cate Blanchet on the cover.

We’re thrilled to announce that Babette Wasserman has been shortlisted for Jewellery Brand of the Year for the 2012 UK Jewellery Awards. The announcement was made at The Orangery at 11 Cavendish Square on April 4th, amongst the industry’s best.
The awards will take place on July 12th at the Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane where the industry’s elite will come together to celebrate their achievements and announce the winners.
This is the third year that we have been nominated, so keep your fingers crossed!

On last week’s The Apprentice (March 21st 2012), the beautiful Bilyana Apostolova was seen wearing our very own Bamboo Pendant earrings and bangle in silver. These gorgeous pieces shows subtle hints of  nature and the colour complimented Bilyana’s exotic complexion very nicely!

 Three weeks ago, we won The Designer Award from The Company of Master Jewellers in Birmingham. This was such an honour and we are very grateful to everyone who voted!

We are very proud to announce that we were awarded ‘Best Jewellery Range’ 2012 by the Company of Master Jewellers at the recent show, The Jewellery Show in Birmingham, early February.  The CMJ is the largest buying group in the UK and has over 120 members with around 300 stores spread nationwide.  ‘Outstanding design quality, innovation, commercial appeal and price’  was some of the comments bestowed upon us.

CMJ chief executive Willie Hamilton said “This award looks at an overall package for a successful collection- not only original jewellery design and craftsmanship, but also the commercial appeal and the retail price point (…) with this award, we are giving CMJ backing to the winning brand, while letting retailers know that the collection is strong across the board, so that they can buy with confidence.”

We are very honoured to have received this award and thank everyone who voted for us!

We are thrilled to announce that Marie Claire featured our jewellery in a six page spread in their December 2011 issue, starring the beautiful Sarah Jessica-Parker on the cover.

So elegantly styled by Sarah Christie, many of our pieces including our very popular Scarf Lariat and Scarf bracelet were photographed for the shoot.  The Babette Wasserman scarf collection is available in pure silver,  a mix of silver and rose gold and the newest addition, just launched, is interwoven with brightly-coloured cotton –  this season’s must have piece!   

The Stardust Bracelet, a subtle, yet very statement piece, in gold, rose-gold and silver is layered with the Amazon Attraction Bangle, a three-tiered bracelet portraying a tribal feel. This year is all about stacking and mixing colours.

On Sunday 27^th November Tulisa, one of the judges on British X Factor was clad in a super sexy see-through dress and wore our Electra Boulder Gold Ring …on her index finger which we think is very cool!

She is also wearing our classic Glitter Chameleon Champagne Ring for her new promo shots, also on her index finger…. Is this the start of a new fad?

 All of us at Babette Wasserman were delight to be asked to be one the official MTV Music Award sponsors 2011.  Presented by Selena Gomez, the event took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Sunday 6^th November and included some of the best music acts today.  We were super chuffed to give a pair of our Goldwing Cufflinks to stars such as Anthony Kiedis from The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruno Mars,  and our Candy Barrel Bracelets was given to Lady Gaga, Adele, Katy Perry and many more on the night.

Gossip from the night included a naked streaker running onto the stage to speak to HEROES star Hayden Panettiere who asked him to join her for a pint after the show!  The streaker replied..

‘I’d love that but I haven’t got my phone on me right now!’

Lady Gaga requested that her dressing room be 32 degrees celcius, maybe she prances around naked, wearing just our Candy Barrel Bracelet!
